This study aims to reveal the beauty of white color in the poetry of Ibn al-Khatib.

The research discusses the importance and symbolism of white color. It also reveals the beauty of the white color in the poetic text, both directly and indirectly, and demonstrates the poet's ability to present the white color as a symbol of peace, light, darkness, strength, beauty and other symbols which are discussed in the research.

The research concludes that the color of the white, in the poetic text bears more than one meaning. For example, white may be a symbol of power, as in the sword. At the same time, the absence of white, such as gray hair, may be a sign of darkness, old age and a lack of both vitality and strength.
