The study aims to investigate the role of parliamentary oversight in reducing administrative and financial corruption in Jordan by studying the concept of corruption، its causes and types، explaining the role of direct oversight bodies represented by the House of Representatives، and explaining the indirect oversight bodies represented by the Audit Bureau، through the legal procedures granted to these bodies in accordance with constitutional texts and legal legislation، in order to discuss violations and transgressions within a legal framework، and take the necessary legal measures against administrative and financial transgressions، and that parliamentary oversight has a role in combating administrative and financial corruption as one of the basic mechanisms to ensure the transparency and integrity of government work. The Audit Bureau's oversight is represented in evaluating the performance of employees and adopting it as a basis for promotion and assuming positions. It should be clear and announced to everyone to achieve the desired goal of reducing administrative and financial corruption in Jordan، where bribery and favouritism have become acceptable matters or a common way to obtain services or facilitate corruption operations. To reduce this phenomenon، employees' role in reporting corruption cases in their departments and workplaces must be strengthened by taking incentive measures represented in allocating a financial reward for those who report corruption cases in government departments.
