The plurals that can't change into singular in Arabic Analytical Descriptive Study

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to search out the issue of plurals  that can't change into singular in Arabic in order to provide an acceptable explanation for this issue. To this end, I  began this study by describing this phenomenon as it appeared in the language books and the Arabic lexicons, and by enumerating these plurals in- lesan al-Arab by Ibn mandour, then classifying them according to the Pattern of those plurals. Then I spoke about dealing with this phenomenon by ancient linguists, and modernists and explaining the reasons that explained this phenomenon. Then I discussed the topics behind the emergence of this issue such as juristic reasoning analogy, hearsay, dispensing and historical interpretation of it, indicating that the linguists who took care of the simulation  and being strict with it were behind the appearance of more features for this issue, and that the process of language through history is a major role for its interpretation by two tracks; one of them is the singular disappearance of the linguistic usage, and the other is the development of a plural that does not have single from another plural, so single of this plural solely for that plural
