The Letters of the Poets to the Young Ones: An Analytical and Comparative study

The study aims to trace a literary phenomenon which is the letters which are written by poets to the young ones. The study investigates this phenomenon by exploring its dimension, its types, and its general literary effect. It also draws the boundaries of interrelationship between the Western and Arabic modern literature in so far as this phenomenon is concerned.
To achieve its goals, the study explores the history and boundaries of the phenomenon and introduces a descriptive approach as well as an approach which is peculiar to the Arabic literature.
The study concludes by making a strong connection between the phenomenon in question and the most prominent Western modern poets like Rilke, Hermann Hesse, Virginia Woolf, among others. It also makes such a connection with the prominent Arab poets like Nazik Al-malaeka, Adonis, Mahmood Darweesh, among others. The study shows the most prominent features of similarities and differences relating to the phenomenon in the Arabic and Western literature.
