Abstract

This research discusses the indicators of refraction and incentives for triumph in the Palestinian poetic discourse through an ideological study of "A Star Over Bethlehem", " by Khalil Tuma; for what the modern and space-time paradoxes this poetry collection offers; at the individual, Collective, and national levels.

The researcher explains in the preamble the notions of concept, addressing and poetry collection, illuminating the indicators of refraction (subjective, collective and national), and explaining the incentives of triumph (existential, humanitarian and forward-looking), which are found in concepts and structures that are based on the techniques of intertextuality, displacement, symbolism, and mythology, to explore the distinction between the ideal and the decadent, based on space.

The research is based on the descriptive approach in the introduction, the inferential approach in defining poetic explications, and the inductive approach to conclude the unique features of paradox, to achieve the semiotic and structural criticisms.
