Abstract
This study aims at identifying the most important issues related to the poetic evidence among the early grammarians, so that they can be framed and collected on the one hand, and can be made easier to study on the other. Further, the study analyzes and discusses these issues in order to reveal their methodological origins and critical standards, and to highlight the objective out of the shortcomings.
In addition, the study seeks to achieve its objectives with a set of critical and procedural instruments, based on the descriptive analytical approach, coupled with the inductive approach to the attitudes of grammarians in both the syntactic view, in general, and the poetic view, in particular. Some comparative methodological instruments, required in the study procedures, are also considered.
The study revealed the most prominent issues of the poetic evidence in terms of: the concept, limitations, problems, effect, and the value of the poetic witness within the linguistic evidence, its role in linguistic grammaticality, and its contribution to the process of Arabic syntax.
