Today, environmental attacks are one of the most important challenges facing man at the international level. Given the impact of the natural environment on all aspects of life, Humans cannot live in isolation. Given this importance, through this study, we have investigated the legal nature of international crimes that are unlawfully occurring in the environment and cause significant damage and terrorism to the ecosystem and human beings at the international and national levels, the so-called crime of environmental terrorism. s criminal responsibility under international legislation and jurisdiction to consider and criminalize it. This study aims to determine what is meant by the crime of ecological terrorism. And to indicate whether the crime of environmental terrorism crosses an international crime, establishing that the crime of ecological terrorism is an offence within the jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court and examine whether the offence of customs smuggling can be included in the offences of environmental terrorism and determine the penal liability of the perpetrators based on the analytical descriptive approach. The study draws several conclusions and recommendations. The study's main findings include the following: The crime of environmental terrorism is one of the international crimes of the international community, and the crime of ecological terrorism is one of the international crimes of the international community. Environmental terrorism is also one of the crimes falling within the jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court. The most important recommendations of the study include: A fifth crime shall be included in the Statute of the International Criminal Court, which shall consist of a more detailed explanation of crimes affecting the environment or those crimes committed through the environment to achieve the objectives or consequences of the crimes outlined in this Statute.
