All legislations have recognized the importance of the service certificate for the worker and its imprint in paving the way for the unemployed worker at the end of their contract to find a new job. Therefore, it began to include provisions in the labor laws that guarantee this right and regulate the mechanism for its regulation. When the Jordanian Labor Law was issued with a protective aim for the worker in the first place, it stipulated that the entity be obligated. The previous employer granted the worker a service certificate at the end of their service, but the Jordanian text was brief regarding the information available in the service certificate. This study came as an attempt to draw the attention of the Jordanian legislator to expand its horizons in determining the information made available in the service certificate and the times of its issuance, based on the analysis of the relevant legal texts and linking them with the statistical and field results conducted by the researcher, in light of the absence of jurisprudence and legislative shortcomings in controlling the service certificate and organized.
