The study found that the weak organization of parties and the decline in their effectiveness are negatively correlated with the level of citizen participation in the political process. The results showed that more organized and active parties have greater popular participation, which enhances the effectiveness of political participation and broadens the voter base. In addition to the lack of confidence among citizens in political parties as a result of their weak organizational performance and lack of actual representation of community issues, which negatively affects political participation and increases the phenomenon of reluctance. The study concluded that there must be a reduction in the number of political parties by merging them with other parties so that they are right, center and left, which makes citizens join political parties because there will be competition between parties to reach power and formulate their programs in a way that meets the requirements and needs of citizens.
