Abstract
The material rule method is one of the most important approaches to private international law, as long as the legal rules are directly applicable to disputes relating to international trade and economics are determined. Given the importance of this subject in Jordanian legislation and other laws at the global level, We have clarified the objective of these local and international rules, and it has been shown that it is necessary that the Jordanian judge applies these rules if they are chosen by the parties or if these parties do not manifest themselves against this choice. These rules, in particular those which take account of world rules in the fields of trade and economy, facilitate the implementation of foreign decisions, ensure legal certainty and undoubtedly meet the wishes of the parties, in particular those of the world of trade and professional associations.
