Abstract

 The study deals with the issue of “ Exception of al-Anṣār or what’s known as the monopoly of the rulers in the Umayyad era in commanding and living on the Ansar. Besides, the study monitors its intellectual and artistic dimensions in the poetry of Hassan bin Thābit in general, in and discover its reflects by reading the poem of Hassan Bin Thabit al-Anṣār “What is wrong with your eyes what do not sleep  in particular.

The study tries to discover the issue of Athrat al-Anṣār” in the poetry of Hassan bin Thabit by studying the text of the poem called: “What is wrong with your eyes that do not sleep” textual and analytical study. Also, the study tries to decode the poem and visually and compositionally. Where the “Exception “was clearly reflected in the content of the poem and its poetic treasures. What was clearly revealed about the complaint of al-Anṣār against the exclusionary conditions that befell them their deprivation of adequate care and attention, and what confirms the realization of the phenomenon of – Exception of al-Anṣār” and its connection to historical contexts with political tendency that were strongly produced by the reality of Arab life in the first Umayyad era.
