Abstract

Abstract

This research aims to identify one of the blogs that discussed the issue of Qur’anic miracles, which is the message of Abu Suleiman Al-Khattabi, tagged “Unveiling of the Miracle of the Quran.” It attempted to clarify the rhetorical and critical contribution of this message at the theoretical and applied levels and the aspects of the relationship of the miraculous message to the pilgrims.

The research used the descriptive and analytical approach to identify the most significant data of argumentative theory. It used the pragmatic approach with the application of the most important theories of argumentation. It included two aspects: a grounded theoretical aspect and an applied aspect to extract and identify the most important argumentative methods and techniques in the study.

The results showed that Al-Khattabi’s message is rich in using argumentative mechanisms, which makes argumentation a valid theory for application to texts. The findings also showed that such richness qualifies Al-Khattabi’s message to be a valid model for application to the mechanisms of argumentation theory since the miraculous speech is characterized by argumentative dialogic characters and uses dialogue and debate as a method to persuade the other and change his/her behavior and opinions.

The results also showed the emergence of the eloquent argumentative language that Al-Khattabi used to be a model to be emulated, as well as the emergence of argumentative multiplicity methods between linguistic, rhetorical, and rational that gave the message an argumentative nature, which led to persuasion by several means and procedural tools. Thus, the study concluded that the greatest aspect of the miraculous nature of the Qur’an lies in its organization and illustrative miracle.
