Abstract

This study sheds light on the poetic techniques of the contemporary Jordanian poet Muhammad Salam Jumayan in his manuscript collection “The Person Who Was Seduced” and examined the role of poetry in forming the collection and building its artistic features. This study is the first attempt to study this manuscript collection.

The study relied on the tools of the aesthetic artistic approach in monitoring the features and techniques of poetry that emerged in the manuscript, with the help of deconstructive reading. During this study, the researcher found that the contemporary Jordanian poet was able to develop poetic techniques in his poetic works, by working on reading poetic anthals in the manuscript collection "The Person Who Was Seduced".
