Abstract

This research examined the “Al-Maqsoud fi Al-Maqsoor wal-Mamdoud ” or “the short and extended” occurrence by Sheikh Imam Hussam al-Din and Lisan al-Mutakalameen al-Hasan ibn Muhammad ibn al-Hasan al-Rassas who died in the year (584 AH / 1188 AD), which is considered an important link in the series of writings about Al-Maqsooor and Al-Mammud and is no less important than other books that This phenomenon was discussed.

This research aims to produce the book in an accurate, scientific manner that is as close as possible to the correctness and accuracy of the image intended by the author. To achieve this goal, the researcher followed the generally accepted scientific approach to heritage investigation. This study came in two parts. First, it lightened on the author and examined the book. Second, it verified the text followed by a list of sources and references that the researcher referred to
