Online questionnaire was distributed to 220 project managers among all 200 Jordanian first class construction companies. The data from 165 respondents were checked and coded for statistical analysis using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Analysis of Moment Structures software (AMOS, 20) and Statistical Package for the Social Sciences software (SPSS,20). The results indicated that RM and KM have significant positive effects on PMP and PS. Moreover, PMP was found to have a significant positive effect on PS. The results showed that PMP was the strongest predictor of PS while the strongest predictor of PMP was RM. From the results of mediation analysis, it was found that PMP partially mediates the effects of RM and KM on PS. The study recommended that Jordanian construction companies should consider seriously RM and KM in their projects since they will protect the projects from such failures as completion delay, overrun, low quality or safety incidents. In addition, the construction companies have to pay more attention for project management training and the use of the best practices of project management which will improve the overall organization performance.
2024-02-21T00:00:00+03:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Mutah Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences ( MJHSS) https://dsr.mutah.edu.jo/index.php/hsss/article/view/924 Deconstructing the Language Poetry in Some Selected Poems of Charles Bernstein From a Derridaian Perspective 2024-02-21T10:00:59+03:00 Abeer Aser Alrawashdeh abeer_r2005@yahoo.com
This paper investigates the language poetry and its practice in some poems of the American poet Charles Bernstein. The study will examine several poems for Bernstein, like "April" and "March" from Stigma, "Locks without Doors" from Dark City, "Slowed Reason" from Rough Trades, "Lift off", and "The next Available Place". It argues that the Derridaian perspective plays a prominent role in the way Bernstein visualizes meaning in his poetry. According to Jacques Derrida (1993), the divergence of indicative communication by making intentional gaps between expression and indication creates the signification to difference, deviation, and departure. The gaps for Derrida are gaps of space which become gaps of time and those of time become gaps of space, adding that the gaps of difference are in themselves gaps as difference. The gap itself works for the auto production and the auto-determination of meaning which will keep on travelling.

The study will analyse the language of Bernstein in the above mentioned poems to prove that meaning emerges through interpretation and that even authors do not control the text interpretation, and that texts, like language itself, have no outside referents or transcendental signified.
2024-02-21T00:00:00+03:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Mutah Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences ( MJHSS) https://dsr.mutah.edu.jo/index.php/hsss/article/view/925 The Extent to which Some Physical Measurements and Kinematic Variables Contribute to the Results of the Horizontal and Vertical Jumps from Stability Tests among the Students of the Faculty of Physical Education at Yarmouk University 2024-02-21T10:28:34+03:00 Wasfi Muhammad Al-Khaza'leh drwasfi@yahoo.com Dua’Abdul Karim Al-Hourani drwasfi@yahoo.com Ziad Darwish Al-Kurdi drwasfi@yahoo.com
The study aimed to determine the extent to which some physical measurements and kinematic variables contribute to the results of the horizontal and vertical jumps from stability tests. b hnbh ygbn c6ytgby6tgbttThe researchers used the descriptive approach in which corelationships were examined, and the study was run on a purposive sample of (42) male students from the Faculty of Physical Education at Yarmouk University who were enrolling in the practical courses, where physical measurements were taken of them, and then they were photographed while performing the horizontal and vertical jump tests from stability using a camera from of Canon type, which takes up to 30 images a second. The researchers extracted the kinematic variables using the Kenova software, and the data was entered into the computer and processed with the statistical analysis program for the social sciences (SPSS) in order to calculate the means, standard deviations, skewness coefficients, correlation coefficients, and multiple linear regression analysis . The results showed no statistical contribution to anthropometrics on the horizontal or vertical jump, while there was a statistical contribution on the vertical or horizontal jump of the kinematic variables, for both time and speed of the jump. The researchers recommended that researchers should focus on studying the kinematic variables as they relate and contribute to the distance of the horizontal and vertical jump from stability.
2024-02-21T00:00:00+03:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Mutah Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences ( MJHSS) https://dsr.mutah.edu.jo/index.php/hsss/article/view/926 The Impact of the Dimensions of Internal Work Environment on Job Burnout in the Jordanian Universities 2024-02-21T10:36:39+03:00 Mohammad Abdullah Alryalaat mohammad.alryalat@bau.edu.jo
The goal of this study is to identify the impact of internal work environment on occupational burnout in the Jordanian universities.
